Your design, with respect for other people's brands
Upload your own artwork, generate something with our AI tool, or start from a preset — the design studio is yours to use freely. The one thing we can't print is someone else's protected brand. For our purchase terms, see terms of service; for how we handle designs more generally, see our artwork guidelines.
What you can upload
You're free to design your bottle however you like. That includes:
- Your own photos, logos, and artwork
- Text, patterns, colours, and general styles — any aesthetic you're going for
- Images you generate with our built-in AI tool. It's a simple starting-point generator, not a full design suite — think of it as one option among several, alongside uploading your own files or picking a preset
- Stock or licensed images you have the rights to use
If it's yours to use, it's yours to print.
Where the line is
We can't print designs that use someone else's protected brand — their logo, wordmark, or another clearly recognisable piece of their identity. This applies whether it was uploaded as a file or generated with our AI tool.
For exampleA bottle with the Nike swoosh or the Red Bull logo placed prominently on it isn't something we can produce, even if you're a genuine fan and don't intend to sell it on.
The key word is prominent. A subtle nod or a colour palette inspired by a brand you like is a different thing entirely from reproducing their actual logo or trademark front and centre. We look at the overall impression a design makes, not at technicalities.
What happens if we spot something
If a design in your order looks like it crosses that line, we'll reach out before doing anything else. In most cases, a small tweak is all it takes to get your order moving again — swapping out one element, adjusting a placement, that sort of thing.
We only decline an order outright when we can't find a way through together. If that happens, you're covered by our standard returns & refunds policy — you won't be left paying for something we can't produce.
Why we do this
Trademark rules exist to protect brands from having their identity used without permission — and that responsibility doesn't stop with us. As the person placing the order, you'd carry that risk too. Checking this upfront protects you as much as it protects Uviqs.
Not sure whether something you have in mind would be fine? Ask us before you order — get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer.
