Tips for the sharpest result
A few simple guidelines to make sure your uploaded image looks crisp on the printed bottle.
High resolution
Use the largest version of your image. Aim for at least 300 DPI for sharp results. Vector files (SVG, PDF) scale infinitely without quality loss — preferred for logos. Raster files (PNG, JPG) need higher resolution.
Transparent background (for logos)
If your image has a white or coloured background, you can remove it inside the design tool to make it transparent. Or upload a PNG with transparency already built in — either way works.
Use images you own or have licensed
Make sure you have the rights to print the image — your own photo, your own logo, or properly licensed artwork. We can't print copyrighted material.
Supported formats
PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, AI, up to 25 MB per file. Vector files (SVG, PDF) scale perfectly at any size.

UV printing has specific technical requirements — colour profiles, print sizes, fonts, white-base layers. Preparing artwork that prints exactly the way you envisioned is usually not a one-shot process. It typically takes a few rounds of review, feedback, and refinement before everything is right.
We'll guide you through it and handle the technical prep on our side. Because this takes time and attention from our team, we charge for the review and preparation hours. We'll always quote you upfront before starting any work.

What we check & what we'll fix
Every file gets a quick check before printing, and every printed bottle gets a quality check before shipping — whether designed in our tool or uploaded as a custom file.
Free, every order
A visual check, basic colour conversion (RGB → CMYK), and a check that your file is technically sound. The bottle designer flags anything that looks off. Note: in the end we print what you ordered — if the tool flags your resolution as too low and you order anyway, you will receive the design exactly as supplied.
When extra work is needed
If your file needs cleaning up (removing backgrounds, redrawing low-res elements, adjusting colours), and you cannot make it work yourself, get in touch and we can help (for extra fee).
Your responsibility
Our checks in the design tool catch obvious technical issues (low resolution, fit, colour mode), but the artistic quality and content of your design stay your responsibility. We print exactly what you approve — please review the 3D preview carefully before placing your order.
Misprint check before shipping
After printing, every bottle is visually checked before it goes in the box. If a printer error caused a misprint — missed areas, smudges, off-colour, or faulty adhesion — we reprint that bottle at no cost. You only receive bottles that match the design you approved.
Design questions
Do I need design skills to use the tool?
Not at all. The tool is designed for everyone — upload an image, type your text, or describe what you want with AI. If you can envision what you want, you can start designing a Uviqs bottle.
My image looks blurry in the 3D preview — what now?
If the tool warns you about resolution, the image is too small for the size you've chosen. Try a larger version of the same image, or scale your design down so the pixels stretch less.
Can the AI feature generate any style of design?
Yes — describe a style (minimal, vintage, watercolour, photo-realistic, etc.) and a subject, and our AI feature creates options for you. You can refine until it's exactly what you want, then drop it onto your bottle. AI generation requires a logged-in account and is limited to 3 prompts per hour — see below for the full details.
Yes. You need to be logged in to use AI generation, and there's a limit of 3 prompts per hour per account. The limit keeps the tool fast and fair for everyone — most designs land within a few prompts. If you need more, wait an hour or get in touch.
Can you match a specific Pantone colour?
UV printing is CMYK, so we can't match Pantone exactly — we get very close, usually within a few percent. For brand-critical colours we recommend ordering a sample first to confirm.
Will I see an example before printing?
The 3D preview in the design tool shows you exactly how your bottle will look. You can also add a real printed sample for €12.76 — refunded as a discount code on orders of 50+ bottles.
